Your privacy at Continuo Consulting
Data controller: Continuous consulting. This notice applies to the Continuo Consulting website and the personal information you share when contacting us about our services or a professional collaboration. Your contact person is Ronald Schuermans. For privacy questions or requests, email Ronald.Schuermans@proximus.be or call +32 490 58 99 38.
We handle personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This notice was updated on 15 October 2026.
Enquiries and working together
When you call, email or use a contact form, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, area of interest and message. We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare a conversation and discuss a possible assignment.
For an agreement with you, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract or performing that contract. For business contacts and general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in relevant communication and providing our services responsibly, balanced against your privacy. You may object.
You choose what to share. We need a way to reach you and an explanation of your question to respond meaningfully. An initial enquiry does not require confidential business files or sensitive personal information. Contacting us does not subscribe you to newsletters or advertising.
A form with the Open email button prepares a message in your own email app. Its entered details are not sent to or stored on the website server. You send the email yourself. On this route, you attach a CV or other file in your email app; the website does not upload files.
Professional profiles and sourcing
If you ask us to explore a professional collaboration, we may use your contact details, experience, education, skills, interests, availability and information in a CV or message you share. The purpose is to understand your profile and discuss relevant opportunities personally. Do not include identity documents, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive details.
This work relies on our legitimate interest in exploring suitable professional contacts and collaborations, taking account of your expectations and rights. If relevant professional information comes from a referral or public business source, we tell you its source, purpose and your rights no later than our first contact and within the applicable legal time limit.
We do not automatically share your profile with our network. We discuss a specific introduction and the necessary information with you first. We make no solely automated decisions about candidates and do not use your data for advertising profiles.
Website visits and security
The hosting infrastructure processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, including your IP address, request time, requested page and browser information. The basis is the legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website.
Secure forms validate origin, file type, input and potential abuse. Rate limiting stores a rotating cryptographic derivative of the IP address, a counter and an expiry, without enquiry content. The counter expires after fifteen minutes; expired records are removed on the next check.
Access is limited to people who need it for their role, and connections are secured. Images, video and fonts are served by the website; playing a video does not load a third-party video player.
Who receives your data?
Ronald handles your enquiry. Technical providers support hosting, email and security. Vercel hosts the website; direct emails are processed by the mail services and receiving mailbox. When a form sends directly through the website server, Brevo delivers the email. Supabase supports secure form infrastructure and private storage for online candidate files. Supabase does not hold a general archive of contact-form messages.
Online candidate files are accessible only to authorised administrators using two-factor authentication. Downloads use temporary access, and notification emails contain no CV attachments. We do not sell personal data. Further disclosure takes place only as necessary for an agreed collaboration or a legal obligation.
Processing outside the European Economic Area
International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including for hosting, support or email delivery. Such transfers require an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Vercel describes its transfer arrangements at https://vercel.com/legal/dpa
Contact us using the details in this notice for information about the recipients and safeguards applicable to your data.
How long do we keep data?
Retention depends on the purpose. For an ordinary enquiry, we assess whether the question and agreed follow-up have been completed. Information needed for a collaboration remains relevant while the assignment and related commitments continue. Records subject to a statutory retention obligation or needed for a specific legal claim are retained longer only for that purpose.
An online candidate file is retained for up to six months, with earlier deletion available on request. Incomplete upload sessions expire after twenty minutes; abandoned uploads are removed by the daily cleanup task once at least twenty-four hours old. These automatic periods apply to secure online storage, not files you send by email.
Your cookie choice is remembered on your device for up to 180 days. The analytics cookies described below also have a maximum lifetime of 180 days. You may remove them or withdraw consent earlier.
Cookies and your choices
Necessary technical features keep the website working and remember your cookie preference. This preference is held in browser local storage under continuo-consent-v2 and does not require analytics consent. You can remove it in your browser settings.
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow analytics cookies. Measurement may include pages visited, language, device information and contact-action clicks. The _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish visits and last up to 180 days. Form content and directly entered contact details are not sent as analytics data. The website disables advertising personalisation and Google Signals.
Choose Necessary only to refuse analytics cookies. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops further website analytics and deletes the analytics cookies the website can remove from your device. It does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
